Today, We Lost one of my Biggest Childhood Idols.

One of the greatest to ever do it inside the squared circle,Watch "Macho Man on coke" on YouTube, and as you can see the acting, even before Hollywood, was on point. As an avid watcher, in large part due to the man I grew up with as my step-father, I've now been watching this " Man's Soap Opera" now some 34 years. I was raised in the city streets of Lexington, Ky. where a lot of these stars often came to shine, I was oftentimes, watching a great many performer walk across the street of Eastland Parkway, just off New Circle Road, from what I'm sure still stands Continental Inn, to a little mini mart, laughing and joking, then performing in the ring either together as Tag-Team, or beating the holy hell out of eachother as foes, all in the name of entertainment. Randy had a daughter, of which for a very brief time, we shared a babysitter. Sitting on her curb the first day they pulled up, I remember doing a double take after he jumps out the drivers side of the car he had stopped just a few feet from me, and asked " Do you know where Janieva lives?" The day before she had told me she had a surprise for me... that was to me, just hilarious. Randy, Dear old friend R.I.P.

Another brief encounter, was Downtown, Lexington, when the power went out for what seemed like maybe 45sec, but was trapped with The Boogie-Woogie man himself, Handsome Jimmie Valiant.

Game 5, Heat vs. Celtics NBA Playoffs 2011

The series for what it's worth, was nothing short of amazing. Game five however was the exclamation point. The way LeBron figured out the Pistons, while with the Cavaliers, has been achieved against a GREAT Celtics team, with a formidable team behind him and one DWade along side him in the drivers seat.

The Lakers Go Down in Defeat.

Kobe is beginning to show the wear and tear of his illustrious career. See Chuck juss said it(Inside The NBA).

Today, The Basketball Gods Smiled Down on The 76ers.

Particularly on one Jrue Holiday. They defeated my Miami Heat, snuffing out the possibility of the foreseen sweep. Alas, it was all for nothing, now they must go on the road to face a revengful Heat team, in front of an Adoring Heat crowd...
Wednesday, game back at home, it will be all for naught, release the streamers, party in the streets of MIAMI.

Memphis Grizzlies Just Made History

Not in the fact they took a two-one series game lead by beating none other than TIM Duncan and his opposing San Antonio Spurs, but more for the reason they won their first home playoff game in Franchise History. This story is big to me, I mean I bleed Ky. blue, but I am Tennessee born,(juss a funny note... I also reside in the tri-state that bred one O.J. Mayo).

Analysis of the Age Old Question, Who's Game is Better?

This is not a post about individual players. I'm talking about the same question I hear every  year around this time. A month and a half left of the regular NBA season and that of what most of the frenzied nation gets into March Madness. The question is which brand do you like the best. It's a question that for the past few seasons, that's really had me baffled. The general consensus is the college style of play. I've always told people I lean more toward the professional mode of the game. My reason, its where your college players go to get better.

After hearing this question again last year I had decided to do a little research, which was performed watching a lot of games, and some competitive banter on Yahoo! message boards. Some of that shit can be hilarious, some of them people need banned from the net itself. Sometimes I feel as if I stepped into the '50's era, where not all players were welcome. Anyway the conclusion I came to is that during the madness of March there is a lot more coverage of so many more teams.
